ABOUT

Happy Hour Fund is a grassroots mutual aid fund providing financial assistance and necessities to excluded workers in Los Angeles County and the Washington metropolitan area whose lives have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. 100% of proceeds go to excluded workers.

The COVID-19 pandemic has called attention to the disparate levels of class inequality in the United States. While for some of us, our happy hour funds—money for after-work drinks or grabbing a bite with friends—grow, vital workers in our communities continue to lose their jobs with limited social and economic support.

We started this fund with the idea that if everyone pitches in a little, we can begin to impact people’s lives. Donate your happy hour fund to support workers today!

We operate out of Washington, DC—the native land of the Nacotchtank (Anacostian) and Piscataway—as well as Los Angeles, CA—the native land of the Kizh, Chumash, and Tongva.
